Can I update my RSVP?

RSVPs are closed; however if you need to update your RSVP you can do so from RSVPify directly (you should have received a confirmation email with your RSVP) or send an email to itsgoingdownyall@gmail.com.

If you're unable to attend the event from 5:00 to 9:00 PM, feel free to join us for the after party at Night Heron, near the Fox Theater.

What should I wear?

For the dress code think of semi-formal as the minimum. The couple will be dressed to the nines, feel free to join them or come in whatever makes you feel stylish and comfortable.

The engagement party will be held on an indoor-outdoor rooftop space, so we recommend bringing a jacket to stay comfortable throughout the evening. It is expected to be cool, with temperatures likely ranging between 58°F and 65°F.

What should I bring?

Your presence and punctuality are all we wish for! To ensure you don’t miss the couple’s arrival at 5:30 PM, please be at the venue at 5 PM.

If it feels unnatural to come empty-handed, you’re welcome to bring wine or flowers.

How do I get to the venue?

By Car:

  • If you're coming from San Francisco, take the I-80 E towards Oakland. Merge onto I-580 E and then take the exit for 35th Ave. Turn right onto 35th Ave, then left onto Webster St.

  • If you're coming from Berkeley, take the I-80 S and merge onto I-580 W. Take the exit for 35th Ave and follow the same directions as above.

By Public Transportation:

  • BART: The nearest BART station is 19th St/Oakland. From there, you will walk under 10 minutes to the venue.

  • Bus: Several AC Transit bus routes service the area. Check the AC Transit website for specific routes and schedules.

I’m driving. Where should I park?

Parking lots/garages within a short walking distance from the venue:

  • Frank Ogawa Plaza Garage

  • Oakland City Center Garage

Street Parking:

  • There may be metered street parking available nearby. Be sure to check parking signs for restrictions and fees.

How do I enter the building?

Enter the building at 1717 Webster. The concierge in the lobby will grant elevator access to guests from 5 to 6 PM. Let them know you’re heading to the event at the pool lounge and follow the dotted line to the elevators. You’ll then take a left to enter the pool lounge.

The couple will make their entrance at 5:30 PM. Please note that the building's communication system is down as of yesterday. Therefore, either Kat or Taylor will be available to let guests in from 5:00 to 5:20 PM. They will have a list of attendees and will ask for your name upon entry.

If you arrive later, you will still be able to enter the building; however, no one will be able to let you in during the couple's entrance from 5:30 to 6:00 PM.
